One of the best motoring museum's I've ever been to.. Loved it
Great museum with very knowledgeable staff and possibly Sammy himself on hand. Great cafe and plenty of parking. Small Animal fa for kids as well.
Excellent if you love old classic bikes. Sammy and his team have done a great job of restoring them. There is also a really cool craft shop there selling local hard made products, a nice cafe, and play area. Sammy also has a collection of donkeys, goats, and birds, so there is plenty to see.
Have lived in Dorset for 30 years and always meant to visit Sammys museum, was not disappointed! If you like motorcycles then you will be in heaven! Every make you can think of and many more that you probably never heard of is represented in a well ordered manner. The charming lady at the ticket desk is very knowledgeable and friendly, superb day out! There is also a good restaurant on site along with smaller outlets selling good quality merchandise. A play park for the younger generations and also a plethora of animals in a wide range of well kept enclosures, all in all something for everyone, well worth a visit!
We loved it! Here on holiday from sunny Dudley in the black country so relied on Google for all our outings, this place is a real gem. As a frequent museum visitor this is one of the best I've seen, lovely grounds to walk around, shops, animals, cafe and play area means something for all. Would recommend and visit again. Such a relaxing place with nice staff too.
